Screenwriter, best-selling novelist & a trusted face in TV journalism (NDTV), Richa Lakhera brings a richly diverse experience as a bilingual Mass Media communications expert. Apart from currently screenwriting several big ticket Bollywood projects, she is the author of nine books, including bestsellers crime fiction Hungry Gods & Item Girl (Rupa Publications), Garbage Beat (Harper Collins) & the latest militia-horror ‘Contamination’ (Om).

Her new novel, a gangster noir, ‘History of Violence’ (Om) will be published in 2024. Several of her works including ‘Item Girl’, ‘Hungry Gods’ (also on Audible) have been optioned for screen adaptation. Richa’s hindi novels include ‘News Girl’, ‘Ek Superstar ki Maut’, ‘Amba aur Mayavi’ & ‘Qaidi no. 028’ (Prabhat Books).

Former Deputy Editor at NDTV (Entertainment), Richa is a well-known face in TV News Journalism in India, having reported, anchored, and produced Entertainment to Daily News programming for over a decade.
